- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to anticipate and meet the needs of patients during surgical procedures, ensuring seamless and efficient care.
- Participate in the selection, training, and evaluation of surgical technologists, ensuring they meet the highest standards of competence and professionalism.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
- Five years of experience as a surgical technologist, with at least three years in a clinical resource or preceptor role.
- Successful completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or military training equivalency.
- Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
