Job Summary:The Perioperative Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care for patients in the surgical suite. This includes planning and implementing care for patients throughout the perioperative process, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient care in the surgical suite
- Plan and implement care for patients throughout the perioperative process
- Participate in patient and family teaching
- Provide leadership in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure high-quality patient care
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current state licensure or eligibility to do so
- BLS certification
- AORN certification preferred
- ACLS or PALS optional
