Job Summary:

This Travel Respiratory Therapist position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced RRT to work in a state-of-the-art facility in Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NICU/PICU care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU/PICU units, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current RRT certification and licensure in Virginia or a compact state.
  • At least 3 years of experience in NICU/PICU care.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.
