We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team at Tyler Technologies. As a Cybersecurity Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients protect and monitor their network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments, including risk assessments and compliance audits.
- Present and communicate cybersecurity strategies and solutions to executives, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation of cybersecurity processes, methodologies, and client engagements.
- Ensure all deliverables meet Tyler Technologies' quality standards and comply with current regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments within Tyler Technologies to ensure a cohesive approach to cybersecurity solutions and service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of cybersecurity products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with 1-2 years in a consulting role.
- Direct experience in the public sector or with public sector clients is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing complex cybersecurity engagements and delivering high-quality results.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) required.
- Additional certifications such as CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls, SCADA security).
- Proficiency in cloud security (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and identity & access management (IAM).
- Experience with security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and SIEM.
- Familiarity with AI and its application in cybersecurity.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or additional certifications are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Occasional travel to client sites as needed, including regional day travel and infrequent overnight stays.
