About the Role
Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a 36-bed adult, medical-surgical oncology unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients, adhering to State Board of Nursing Practice Act, American Nursing Association Code of Ethics, and standards of practice and professional performance.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including education, consultation, and research.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, technicians, and other staff members, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Requirements
- Degree in nursing from an accredited professional school of nursing.
- Current valid Georgia Nursing License.
- Current BLS certification.
