Responsibilities


  • Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients, adhering to State Board of Nursing Practice Act, American Nursing Association Code of Ethics, and standards of practice and professional performance.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including education, consultation, and research.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, technicians, and other staff members, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Requirements


  • Degree in nursing from an accredited professional school of nursing.
  • Current valid Georgia Nursing License.
  • Current BLS certification.
