Job Summary:
Tidelands Health is seeking a skilled Pain Management Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing pain management procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to patients undergoing pain management procedures, including follow-ups, new evaluations, and pre and post-procedure care.
- Document patient information, including pain scores, medication management, and procedure outcomes.
- Operate specialized equipment and maintain radiation safety standards.
- Set up for procedures and manage medication inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Acute care and critical care experience preferred.
- Cardiac monitoring experience preferred.
- Current RN licensure with South Carolina Board of Nursing and ACLS certification required.
- Ability to work with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers with a high level of customer service orientation.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this job require frequent standing, sitting, and walking, as well as the ability to exert 15-20 pounds of force occasionally and 5-10 pounds of force frequently.
