About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Use our industry-leading technology to navigate daily routes and ensure timely arrivals.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Subject to a drug screen and physical.

  • 7/HRS a Day, Guaranteed* Additional hours available - charter route opportunities.
  • AM Shift from 5:30 to 9:30 am. PM Shift from 1:30 to 5:00 pm. Varies depending on route.
  • 7 Paid holidays.
  • No nights or weekends.

*Bonus expires 9/1/2024.
