The Corsicana Manufacturing Plant, established in 1987, is recognized for its commitment to environmental sustainability, having received the 2019 Environmental Impact award. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide engineering support for the Corsicana plant, focusing on plastic extrusion, thermoforming, and printing processes.
  • Establish, coordinate, and direct initiatives for process improvement in plastic extrusion, thermoforming, and offline printing, defining specification standards accordingly.
  • Monitor equipment conditions to ensure optimal performance levels in collaboration with plant teams.
  • Offer technical operations support for manufacturing challenges related to extrusion, thermoforming, and printing. Develop and lead initiatives to enhance processes as issues arise.
  • Collaborate with plant teams to create OEE and quality improvement plans that align with Pactiv Evergreen's targets.
  • Act as the primary source for information aimed at enhancing quality and productivity.
  • Support material innovation and cost-saving initiatives through internal and external resources regarding substitutions, alternative coatings, and processing methods.
  • Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for reducing scrap and enhancing productivity.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs covering machinery, processes, techniques, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Provide on-the-job training for tools, techniques, and methods as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical and management roles within a plant environment, with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Hands-on technical experience in process support and extensive knowledge of large-scale plastic extrusion and thermoforming processes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic organizational settings.
  • Proficiency in ACAD is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills utilizing standard software packages such as Excel and maintenance work order systems to identify opportunities and validate improvements.

The compensation range is specific to Corsicana, TX, and considers various factors in making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is uncommon for individuals to be hired at the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are based on the unique circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,100 - $148,500.
