Travel Healthcare Professional for Ultrasound Technologist Role

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled and experienced travel healthcare professional to fill a 13-week assignment as an Ultrasound Technologist in Sioux City, Iowa.
Key Details- Job Type: Travel Assignment (36 hours/week)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour overnight shifts
- Pay: Competitive weekly pay ($1996.56 - $2098.08), tax-free stipend amount to be determined
The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care as an Ultrasound Technologist, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional results.
- Ultrasound Imaging: Perform ultrasound procedures using advanced equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Patient Care: Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including radiologists, nurses, and other support staff, to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and optimize departmental processes.
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Certifications: Meet facility requirements for certifications (e.g., RDMS, RDCS)
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift and move equipment (50-100 lbs), stand for extended periods, and maintain good hand-eye coordination
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
