**Role Overview**

The Cannabis Retail Associate plays a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience to our patients. Through meaningful engagement and informed responses, the Associate creates a compassionate and respectful atmosphere. **Key Responsibilities**
  • Deliver expertise and personalized guidance to each patient, explaining the potential benefits of our premium cannabis offerings.
  • Address patient inquiries or concerns promptly and thoroughly, escalating any unresolved issues to management without delay.
  • Manage the patient intake process, ensuring accurate documentation and the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responsible for accurately processing and fulfilling patient orders using the Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management systems, adhering to AYR Wellness and regulatory standards.
  • Adapt to fluctuating sales volumes, actively engaging in continuous learning, and maintaining a well-stocked, clean, and organized dispensary environment while prioritizing patient care.
  • Comply with all regulations to prevent unauthorized access to medical cannabis.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and participate in daily stock counts.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture, treating all individuals with respect and fostering a curiosity for cannabis.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Above all, serve as the essential link between AYR Wellness and our patients, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
**Qualifications**
  • Basic math, computer, and cash handling skills are essential.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and resolve issues professionally.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Pass all required background checks.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, caregivers, and team members.
  • Experience with cash handling and POS/inventory systems is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume retail or customer service setting is advantageous.
**Education**
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
**Experience**
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer service; cannabis experience is a plus.

**Physical Requirements**
  • Frequent communication with patients regarding their needs and product offerings.
  • Regular operation of computer/POS systems and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to remain stationary during patient check-ins and transactions.
  • Must be able to lift and transport dispensary products weighing up to 30 lbs.
