Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons during procedures, utilizing advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform technical behaviors, including cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- 3 years of relevant experience in a surgical services nursing department.
- Successful completion of a STFA certification course.
- Current certification as an AST, NBSTSA, or ABSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
- Current certification as a NBSTSA Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
