Job Title: Sr Assoc Dir Real World Evidence Lead

About the Role:

Bayer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real World Evidence (RWE) Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Evidence Generation department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative RWE strategies, approaches, and studies to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead RWE plans across all categories, brands, and products on a global and local level.
  • Collaborate with Evidence Generation Head, Medical Experts, and Evidence Generation representatives to ensure flexible coordination of activities and resources.
  • Lead and develop Integrated RWE Generation Plans according to strategic brand plans, addressing critical business and technical questions/challenges across the entire product life cycle.
  • Provide high-quality expertise and guidance on data sources, standards, and use of advanced and innovative methods and tools for RWE generation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Guide the prioritization of research questions and translation of business stakeholder needs into analytics projects and manage strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Science disciplines, or postgraduate qualification in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Micro-econometrics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Health Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, business insight, strategic mindset, and innovative thinking.
  • Prior work experience in RWE execution in a pharmaceutical company or contract research organization.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills in a global/matrix environment.
  • Good understanding of heterogeneous customer needs and methodological approaches, data sources, and analytical tools for designing, implementing, analyzing, and reporting projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience (at least 10+ years) in clinical research in a global setting.
  • At least 6 years' experience in a leading role with in-depth knowledge of RWE and successful RWE publications record.
