Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and goals.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identifying potential problems and initiating appropriate measures to prevent complications.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Completion of the Nursing Department's orientation program and probationary period.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing patient needs and adapting to changing situations.
