Job Summary:

MediPro is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in acute hospital settings, with a focus on radiology.
  • Proficiency in Cerner electronic health record system.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including 8-hour and 10/12-hour shifts, with flexibility to float to different units as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
