Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at a top-ranked healthcare organization in Cincinnati, OH. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education to patients and families in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the SICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current Ohio RN license or compact.
  • BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
  • ACLS (American Heart Association) certification.
  • 1 year of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in the SICU.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time, contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $55.00 per hour. The shift is 36 hours per week, with nights and every other weekend preferred. The work location is in-person at a top-ranked healthcare organization in Cincinnati, OH.
