Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct care to patients in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level of care in a technically complex environment.
  • Utilizes AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards in evidence-based care models for each ICU and PCU.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring that care is patient-centered and evidence-based.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 6 months nursing experience.
