Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Salvage Operations Engineer to join our team at Resolve Marine. As a key member of our salvage operations team, you will be responsible for supporting emergency response and wreck removal projects worldwide.

  • Support the project manager and salvage master in developing technical plans, drawings, and diagrams to facilitate operations.">
  • Develop 3D hull models for use in stability software to analyze damage stability, salvage, and wreck removal operations.">
  • Use stability software and hydrostatics information to determine ground reactions, ballast/cargo discharge requirements, and estimate freeing force requirements.">
  • Support emergency response, salvage, and wreck removal jobs by developing engineering plans, arrangements, and drawings to client and regulatory specifications.">
">Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Develop written technical plans to be submitted to clients and authorities for various emergency response, salvage, and wreck removal operations.">
  • Work with classification societies and flag states regarding maintenance and modifications to Resolve Marine's floating assets.">
  • Maintain engineering reports and plans developed for Resolve Marine's emergency response, salvage, and wreck removal projects.">
  • Develop structural designs using first principles and advanced analysis calculations.">
  • Develop detail designs/drafting in CAD format for vessel modifications, repairs, outfitting, and site plans.">
  • Develop heavy lift and rigging arrangements, as well as vessel mooring system arrangements.">
  • Support other engineering projects associated with Resolve Marine's business units.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing technical support on-site or remotely.">
  • Assist the project management team in other support roles as required.">

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Ocean Engineering.">
  • Minimum 4 years of engineering experience in a field or production setting, preferably in the salvage industry.">
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Junior Salvage Naval Architect (JSNA), advancing to SNA from JSNA requires review, qualification, recommendation of the Engineering Manager, and approval of the Director of Projects.">
  • Experience with CAD drafting and development of construction drawings.">
  • Experience with emergency ship repair procedures, salvage, and wreck removal processes is strongly preferred.">
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain EIT certification in Florida (if not already PE licensed).">
  • Professional Engineer license strongly preferred.">
  • Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer license in Florida (if not already licensed).">
">Travel Requirements">

Up to 50 - 75% travel is required for this position, with the possibility of additional travel based on operational demand.
