Professor of Anatomy and Biomedical Sciences

A.T. Still University is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Integrated Human Sciences to join our esteemed faculty. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated educator and researcher to contribute to the development of our pre-doctoral curriculum and advance the field of anatomy and biomedical sciences.

• Develop and implement an academically sound plan for delivering integrated human science content across the four years of the MOSDOH DMD program.
• Maintain and improve the integrated human science curriculum by identifying gaps, overlaps, and inconsistencies.
• Work with the Director, Integrated Human Sciences, to schedule courses and faculty for the integrated human sciences curriculum.
• Deliver didactic content for assigned anatomy and other coursework, including producing adjunctive educational materials and maintaining and revising didactic content.
• Assess student progress and implement remediation requirements.
• Conduct research, contribute to securing grants, and publish findings in the field of study.
• Serve on MOSDOH Committee(s) as assigned.

• Doctorate or better in Anatomy or a related field.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and general dentistry.
• 5-10 years of experience in higher education, with clinical and didactic experience, especially at the pre-doctoral level.
• Faculty appointment to MOSDOH at the assistant professor level or higher.

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent lecture and demonstration skills for a pre-doctoral audience.
• A track record of independent research contributions.
