Your Role

As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic learning environment that promotes independence, self-confidence, and deep learning. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, provide personalized support to each child, and foster a sense of community and respect among students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of children aged 3-6.">
  • Create a prepared environment that encourages independence, concentration, and exploration.">
  • Provide individualized support to children, including practical life skills, literacy, math, and other essential areas of development.">
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents and guardians to ensure effective communication and collaboration.">
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive team environment.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education and Qualifications:

">

A Montessori diploma for 3-6 or willingness to obtain one. Experience working with children aged 3-6 in a group setting is essential. Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori is preferred, but not required.

Skills and Abilities:

You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential, as well as a passion for lifelong learning and professional development.
