About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our outpatient dialysis center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Conduct routine patient observations, measure and record vital signs, and perform hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles, with ability to mix acid or bicarb as needed
  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet, with a focus on patient safety and well-being
