Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, providing direct patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
About the Role
This role is eligible for Tennessee sponsorship, and successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
- Support professional nursing practice across various practice settings and across the continuum of care
- Fulfill responsibilities as a preceptor, informal leader, and quality improvement efforts
- Delegate patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability, and availability of resources
- Possess excellent communication skills and participate on committees or projects
Requirements
- Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program
- One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working in a team environment
- Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call
- Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting
- Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and excellent critical thinking skills
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements; Arizona and Florida - Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency; Midwest - Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Salary and Benefits
