JOB DESCRIPTION

The Clinical Pharmacist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medications within the healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thorough verification of medication orders.
  • Precise dispensing of pharmaceuticals.
  • Reduction of order processing time.
  • Monitoring and documentation of medication therapy.
  • Recording clinical interventions.
  • Conducting medication reconciliation.
  • Managing inventory and adhering to formulary guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Essential Skills & Technologies:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy - R. Ph - Pharmacist preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pediatric experience.
  • Pharm D degree.
  • Inpatient experience with both sterile and non-sterile compounding.
  • Experience with computerized unit dose systems, sterile products, and patient-centered clinical skills.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Commitment to maintaining and enhancing clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Engagement in relevant continuing education opportunities.
  • Participation in professional nursing meetings.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and service excellence.
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
