Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice to the Chief Procurement Officer and Vice Presidents of Supply Chain on business objectives and commercial matters related to headquarters activities.
  • Engage with functional working groups, meet regularly with functional leaders, and liaise with lawyers across the enterprise.
  • Advising on collaboration and data sharing matters in conjunction with Security, reviewing the annual report as it relates to Supply Chain.
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements for significant procurements, responsible for the company's standard supplier terms and conditions.
  • Managing outside counsel as needed, responsible for all aspects of compliance for the function.
  • Monitoring changes in relevant legislation, actively participating in the supply chain compliance working group.
  • Regularly briefing the supply chain and contracts functions on compliance matters, responsible for raising awareness of compliance matters.
Requirements:
  • JD with at least 7 years' experience in procurement or commercial transactions, particularly in matters involving government contracts and subcontracts.
  • Be a member in good standing of a state bar, strong interpersonal skills, and strong analytical, oral, and writing skills.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating procurement agreements/subcontracts, strong management and organizational skills, and ability to manage outside counsel.
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
