Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our designated facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance, maintaining a safe work environment, and delivering financial results that meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility through the development and implementation of safety plans and training.
  • Proactively deliver financial results that meet operations budget and company goals.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the safe and environmentally compliant day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
  • Utilize data to ensure facility production objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements.
  • Delegate responsibilities as required to achieve business objectives.
  • Improve employee relations by building a healthy organization and promoting a culture of respect.
  • Drive change by challenging the status quo and developing a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Create an operating cadence that utilizes appropriate tools and incorporates clear communication and accountability for business results.
  • Drive customer retention and business growth by proactively seeking to understand customer needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Develop organizational capacity by clearly defining roles, responsibilities, providing feedback, coaching, and development for all staff.
  • Deliver expected results through effective project execution and ensuring appropriate personnel and equipment resources are available for efficient performance.
  • Provide timely communication to the customer, outside agencies, vendors, and support personnel to meet safety, environmental, and business objectives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
  • Process and systems-oriented.
  • Ability to self-manage, direct supervisory, and management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to obtain any necessary state certifications and licenses.
  • Maintenance and technical systems experience, including CMMS experience implementation and execution.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, engineering, or business management required.
  • 10+ years of increasing management responsibility, experience in industrial services, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
  • Minimum of five years in a Profit/Loss leadership role.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
