Corporate Sitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Sitter to join our team at A Mother's Prayer Placement. As a Corporate Sitter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to our clients in the DC, MD, and VA areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, both educational and recreational.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Plan and lead outdoor activities, weather permitting.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
• Provide transportation of children.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift small children (up to 50 pounds) and be physically active.
• Must be able to participate in outdoor activities for extended periods of time, weather permitting.
• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have at least 2-3 years of professional childcare experience.
• Infant thru school age experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work a schedule of a start time 8am & an end time 6pm, with ability to work earlier or later, on occasions.
• A minimum of 1-2 amazing references or letters of recommendations.
• Must be willing to travel at least 45 minutes – 1 hour one way.
• Able to care for up to 3 children & Pet Friendly (both cats & dogs).
• Clean criminal record and US Work Authorization required.
• Must drive own insured vehicle/and have valid Driver's License with clean driving history.
• Must maintain an Uber or Lyft account for emergency car issues.
• CPR and First Aid Certified or Willing to Become Certified.
• Able to provide care for (1-3) children 8 – 10 hours a session.
• Must be COVID-19 Vaccinated.

Job Type: On Call Eligible Professional

Pay: $18.00 per hour
