Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CT Imaging Specialist to provide exceptional radiologic services at our facility. This role involves working with advanced imaging technology and delivering high-quality patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ARRT
Job Responsibilities
  • Specializing in CT and X-ray procedures
  • Contract duration of 13 weeks
  • Flexible 8-hour shifts available, starting at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 9:00 AM
  • Responsibilities include performing inpatient, ER, and outpatient imaging
  • Expected to conduct x-rays, portable x-rays, CT scans, and Dexa scans
Qualifications
  • CT training and experience are essential; certification is not mandatory
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required
  • Prior travel experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to manage 10-15 scans/studies daily
Work Schedule
  • Variable 8-hour shifts starting at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 9:00 AM
  • On-call duties required during weekends and holidays
  • Response time for on-call duties: 20 minutes
  • 1 to 2 nights on-call weekly and 1 or 2 weekends on-call monthly
Unit Specifics
  • Equipped with 1 x-ray room, 1 portable unit, 1 CT scanner, 1 CR, and 1 Dexa
  • Work exclusively within the radiology department
  • Departmental equipment includes a GE X-ray room with retrofitted DR and Siemens CT
  • No Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech present on every shift
  • Radiologist is not available on-site
  • No IV starts are required
Additional Information
  • Scrubs of your choice are permitted; not provided by the facility
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles
  • Excludes candidates affiliated with any facility associated with CommonSpirit
  • Request for time off must be submitted upfront; additional requests will not be approved post-submission
