Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced lead automotive technicians/mechanics who can effectively diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles. Our full-service facility is looking for skilled professionals to foster a successful and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostics utilizing advanced computer systems
- Perform wheel alignments
- Service car heating and air conditioning systems
- Manage steering and suspension repairs
- Replace belts and hoses
- Oversee radiator and engine cooling system repairs
- Handle battery, starting, and charging system services
- Execute brake repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose check engine light issues
- Provide muffler and exhaust services
- Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to independently diagnose automotive problems and execute repairs
- Experience working effectively within a team
- ASE and relevant state-specific automotive repair certifications are mandatory
- In-depth knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust systems, suspension, and engine diagnostics
- Demonstrated high levels of personal productivity
- Familiarity with safety and environmental standards in repair facilities
- Proficient in using shop equipment, including lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Must possess personal tools and diagnostic equipment
- Capable of servicing both foreign and domestic vehicles
Compensation:
- Flat Rate Pay
