Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care to neonates and their families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare teams on neonatal care and related topics.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Current Illinois Controlled Substance License within 6 months of hire.
- Eligible for DEA registration.
- Current BLS and PALS/ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work varying hours and shifts, including on-call coverage.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to patient needs. You will be working with potentially infectious specimens and patients, and may be exposed to adverse, hazardous, or unpleasant conditions while caring for the sick.
