Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Roze Room Hospice of South Bay is seeking a skilled Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our Palliative Care Team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals and families in the South Bay/Los Angeles areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Hospice Medical Director/Physician to deliver hospice and palliative care to patients and families
  • Work cooperatively with the interdisciplinary Hospice team and participate in IDG meetings
  • Regularly review and update patient plans of care
  • Perform prescribed medical treatments, including patient examination, diagnoses, medication prescription, pain management, and symptom control
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations, and provide education and supportive care to hospice teams, patients, and caregivers
Requirements:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in nursing
  • Current NP License within the State
  • Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing desired and encouraged
  • Minimum of two-year experience as an NP within the last 3 years
