Position Title:
Assistant Custodian - 9 month / 4 hour

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Candidates must possess the physical capability to perform necessary tasks without undue risk to their safety, including the ability to bend, twist, squat, and work at heights. Must be able to lift and transport heavy items such as desks and tables. The recommended minimum age for initial employment is 21. A physical examination is required prior to employment.


Reports To:
Principal or designated representative

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Custodian is accountable to the principal and will execute duties as directed by the principal. Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of the campus by removing litter and debris, ensuring restrooms and floors are properly cleaned and maintained, and assisting the custodian as necessary. Additional duties may be assigned by the principal, provided they are reasonable and within time constraints. A lifting belt must be worn during lifting tasks.


Terms of Employment:
Salary and work year will align with the current approved salary schedule.

Evaluation:
Job performance will be assessed annually in accordance with the Board's policy regarding the evaluation of support personnel.
