Job Summary

The Beauty Consultant will be responsible for providing personalized service to our guests, including answering questions about products and services, making recommendations, and conducting makeup applications and skincare analysis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and engaging experience in the store.
    • Answer questions about products and services, make recommendations, and provide demonstrations to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
    • Courteously handle customer service issues, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Sales and Product Knowledge
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of beauty products and services, including their ingredients and benefits.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new and existing products, including their features and advantages.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to products and services, and provide solutions to guests.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, and stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends and products.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience
    • 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Skills
    • Demonstrated passion for beauty and excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
  • Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift.
  • Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs. during shift.

Salary

$17.27 - $24.50 per hour, based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business needs.
