We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist II to join our team at AdventHealth Waterman. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, including instruments, equipment, and supplies, to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
- Assist surgeons and other members of the surgical team as needed, adhering to AORN and AAMI standards.
- Participate in the care of the surgical patient, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
- Maintain aseptic technique at all times, adhering to department and hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology Program or Military Training Program in Surgical Technology.
- Surgical Technology Certification.
- Basic Life Support.
- 1 year experience as a Surgical Technologist in an Operating Room preferred.
