Job Title: Head Gardener
Location: Historic Home and Garden on the Willamette River in the westside Dunthorpe neighborhood of Portland, OR

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head Gardener to join our team at HR Annie Consulting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our beautiful gardens in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily maintenance of our gardens, including watering, pruning, and fertilizing plants
* Supervise a team of volunteers and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively
* Interact with visitors and provide them with information about our gardens and the work we do

Requirements
* Community college degree and/or undergraduate degree focused on the management of landscaping or horticultural operations
* A minimum of five years of working experience in a similar garden environment with at least two years of supervisory experience
* Familiar with landscaping design and regional plant life
* Extensive knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them
* Knowledge of synthetic and natural fertilizers and state health and safety regulations for landscaping
* Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and hold a valid driver's license

Salary and Benefits
* Estimated annual salary: $52,500
* On-site living quarters
* Full-time, variable hours depending on season, weather, public opening, and events
