Job Overview

Flex-N-Gate is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry, recognized for its growth and stability. We are seeking a skilled CDL Truck Driver to join our team and support our logistics operations.

Scope of the Position

This role will involve transporting materials and supplies to Flex-N-Gate manufacturing facilities in a safe and timely manner. The position will be regional with dedicated lanes, requiring occasional layovers for OTR drivers.

Responsibilities
  • Maneuver tractor/trailer in and out of docks and drop lots safely and accurately.
  • Perform pre- and post-inspection and complete provided documentation.
  • Deliver materials and supplies in a timely fashion as judged by dispatcher and supervisor.
  • Operate on-board computer system and understand its functionality.
  • Work flexible hours to achieve company goals and observe safety and security procedures.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, respect for cultural differences, and a harassment-free environment.
  • Meet productivity standards and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent safety driving record.
  • Current commercial driver's license.
  • Current DOT medical card.
  • OTR positions require willingness to be over the road for several days at a time.
  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience preferred.
