Looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the food service industry? We are seeking an experienced Local Class A CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc.

About the Role

This role requires a valid CDL Class A license, a minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience, and the ability to handle physical tasks including lifting heavy items. You will be responsible for safely driving trucks to meet scheduled delivery times, unloading products, verifying delivery accuracy, and enhancing customer experience.

We offer competitive pay with a starting rate of $$32.31 per hour and opportunities for overtime compensation and a $15,000 Retention Bonus.

This is a full-time position with a schedule that includes being off on Sundays and one weekday, with start times between 1am and 6am (10-11 Hour Routes).

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
Requirements
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
