Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish accurate grades and elevations for installations.
  • Install various underground systems including water, storm-water, and sewer pipelines.
  • Plan and layout pipe routes according to specifications or blueprints, collaborating with supervisors as needed.
  • Uphold the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Follow directions effectively and assist colleagues as required.
  • Continuously seek improvements in operations, aiming to reduce turnaround times and enhance work processes.
  • Conduct visual inspections of work areas to ensure safe and efficient task completion.
  • Demonstrate reliability by maintaining punctuality and attendance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of underground utility operations, including relevant materials, methods, and tools.
  • Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles at job sites and on roadways.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
  • Capacity to consistently lift and carry a minimum of 60 lbs.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, twist, and maintain stability on uneven or unstable surfaces.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak construction periods.
