Position Summary:
Senior Helpers - Lee's Summit is on the lookout for a skilled Home Care Aide to become part of our dedicated team. This role offers both full-time and part-time hourly opportunities in the home care sector.
As a Home Care Aide, your primary responsibility will be to deliver compassionate and top-notch support to a unique client in their residence, assisting them in preserving their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $20, with biweekly payments.
Alongside the hourly pay, the role includes benefits such as:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Aid in meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
- Conduct light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishes, and vacuuming
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social events
- Engage clients in conversation and recreational activities to foster companionship and mental wellness
- Record and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Home Care Aide
- Familiarity with Dementia caregiving techniques
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor towards seniors
- Effective and respectful communication skills with clients, families, and supervisors
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory
- Authorization to work in the United States is required
