GM Overnight Stock Associate Role at Meijer

We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to join the Meijer family as a GM Overnight Stock Associate. In this position, you will be tasked with restocking shelves using items from l-carts or pallets, ensuring that products are accurately placed in their designated locations. Your efforts will be vital in maintaining the store's operational efficiency and positively influencing the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Restock shelves with a variety of products, including grocery items
  • Return excess stock and waste to appropriate areas
  • Coordinate with management to ensure timely restocking of designated sections
  • Maintain a welcoming demeanor towards customers
  • Work during overnight shifts
Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of computer systems
  • Process-oriented with the ability to follow established procedures
  • Ability to remain composed in fast-paced settings
  • Willingness to interact with customers regularly
  • Capacity to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous
