About the Role

The North Texas Tollway Authority is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Tech. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our toll roads.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing professional maintenance of NTTA's roadways, turf, and associated roadway components. This includes removing litter/debris, performing turf maintenance activities, repairing erosion and pavement damage, assisting with inspections, responding to emergencies, and operating various vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove and repair guardrails, attenuators, and associated safety items.
  • Perform litter removal and debris management within NTTA's maintenance limits.
  • Assist with Snow and Ice Events by preparing and operating equipment and vehicles.
  • Repair and maintain concrete median barriers, bridge rails, and other vertical concrete elements.
  • Install, remove, repair, replace, and/or rotate signs.
  • Safely operate designated vehicles, tools, and equipment to perform assigned tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; however, candidates with relevant experience may be considered.
  • Valid driver's license or ability to obtain Texas Class 'C' driver's license within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to obtain Texas Class 'B' CDL within 12 months of hire.
Estimated Salary: $43,000 - $63,000 per year
