Counselor I

We are seeking a skilled Counselor I to support the day-to-day functions of our program, including client onboarding and support, administrative tasks, and facilitating psychoeducational groups.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Client Services: Provide direct services to offender populations by assessing need for program, delivering services, and ensuring an individualized and holistic response.
- Client Onboarding: Onboard new participants, schedule onboarding activities, and follow up with referral sources.
- Psychoeducational Groups: Facilitate weekly, gender-segregated classes for 3-10 court-ordered participants, ensuring efficient and timely completion of intakes, assessments, and groups.
- Case Management: Engage with victims of the program participants through support, assessment, and referrals, and evaluate individualized goal attainment with program coordinator support.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all necessary trainings, follow program policies and guidelines, and participate in case staffing and supervision meetings.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar position.
- Flexibility to align experience with a broad range of assignments.
- Meet physical, aptitude, educational, and minimum experience criteria.
