Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting medical imaging examinations and diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical imaging examinations and diagnostic procedures using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper identification, order verification, and positioning.
  • Operate imaging equipment, maintaining quality images and ensuring patient and staff safety.
  • Utilize sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
  • Recognize emergent patient situations and respond quickly and appropriately.
  • Thoroughly and accurately complete all required documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
  • Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IV Certification.
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire and perform the function of an MA.
Physical Requirements
  • Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.
