Responsibilities- Provide basic, direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance.
- Assume responsibility for the care of patients, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Participate in staff, patient, and family education to enhance patient outcomes.
- Contribute to unit Quality Improvement activities to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Effective communication skills and basic math skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience or successful completion of two Registered Nurse accredited clinical courses.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Nights: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
- Every other weekend required.
- Part-Time (22.5 hours).
