Position Overview:

Responsibilities:
As a Mammography Technician, your duties will include:

  • Conducting diagnostic mammographic examinations with precision, adhering to all safety and health protocols.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear guidance and addressing any inquiries.
  • Operating and maintaining mammography equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with quality standards.
  • Assisting Radiologists in interpreting mammograms and preparing diagnostic documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Staying informed about advancements in mammography techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mammography Technician.
  • Certification in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Proven expertise in mammography procedures and equipment management.
  • Exceptional patient care abilities, demonstrating a commitment to a compassionate and supportive atmosphere.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work independently as well.
