MyMichigan Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Hospital Medicine/Critical Care Team in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Full-time, nightshift position with a 7 on/7 off work week, working hours from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- 100% inpatient focus, providing high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating admissions and ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
- Rounding and conducting regular assessments to monitor patient progress.
- Discharges and coordinating post-discharge care to ensure continuity of treatment.
- Performing procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, and intubations, as required.
- Assisting with floor calls and responding to patient needs in a timely and efficient manner.
Certifications and Licensures:
- AHA-approved BLS Certification is required.
- AHA-approved ACLS Certification is also required.
Required Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
- Experience is preferred, but new graduates will be considered for this role.
Additional Information:
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health's credentialing process.
- A comprehensive onboarding and training program is provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
