About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Director to lead our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to our senior residents.
As a leader in this dynamic environment, you will play a crucial role in shaping the delivery of high-quality nursing services. Your expertise and passion for geriatric care will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Responsibilities- Oversee the administration and management of all nursing services, ensuring they align with physician orders and the individual needs of each resident.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans, collaborating closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to create personalized care strategies.
- Conduct regular wellness visits with residents' families to assess their medical needs and provide ongoing support.
- Provide 24-hour supervision of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- In the absence of the Administrator, assume responsibility for center operations, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
- A flexible, positive, and energetic personality that fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Wisconsin.
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school is preferred.
- Proven experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare environment.
- A professional demeanor and appearance that reflects the high standards of our organization.
