About the Role

Herc Rentals is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Technician to join our team. As a Yard Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and organize heavy equipment, construction equipment, and various pieces of machinery.
  • Customer Service: Provide expert advice on the selection, operation, and maintenance of equipment to customers.
  • Logistics: Help load and unload internal truck drivers, outside haulers, and customers.
  • Quality Control: Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain and clean the yard and work area.
  • Team Support: Support all team members in achieving their goals.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
