Job Summary

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to families with children who have medical conditions requiring skilled nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized self-care and parenting assessment, education, and support to families.
  • Collaborate with community service providers to identify and address developmental challenges and/or psycho-social concerns.
  • Offer skilled nursing services for pregnant/postpartum women with higher risk pregnancies due to medical, psychiatric, and/or substance use disorder diagnoses.
  • Provide emotional adjustment support to children, their families, and their care providers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one to two years of directly related parental/child health nursing and human services experience.
  • Previous home care parental child health nursing experience desired but not required.
  • Central Line experience preferred.

Work Schedule: Rotating weekends (approximately every 4 weeks) and holidays.

Benefits: $10,000 Sign On Bonus for external applicants, mileage reimbursed at Federal Gas Rates, and the opportunity to join a long-standing established caring team dedicated to our patients and their families.
