We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at Louis Swiss Bakery, a subsidiary of McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all retail and wholesale bakery production, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in our products.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate bakery production, including ordering ingredients and supplies, to meet customer demands and maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with our chef team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings that align with our brand concepts.
- Lead and motivate a team of bakers to achieve exceptional results, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage inventory and control costs to ensure efficient operations and profitability.
- Develop and implement effective scheduling and labor management strategies to meet business needs.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or catering, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
