Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Dental Practice Manager to join our team in Bradenton, FL. As a key member of our dental operations team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the front office procedures, coordinating daily staffing schedules, and ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Patient Service Representatives, correcting errors and identifying areas for further training.
  • Coordinate daily staffing schedules and work with the Dental Clinical Manager to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Review and process requests for vacation, sick leave, and other absences for PSRs, managing attendance and call-offs.
  • Conduct PSR evaluations, coaching, and disciplining as needed.
  • Work with HR, the Director of Dental Operations, and the Dental Clinical Manager to recruit, interview, and select dental support staff.
  • Resolve customer complaints and answer questions regarding accounts, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in training new and current staff in insurance verifications, charge-entry, batch procedures, and routine daily front office duties.
  • Monitor missing charges and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Ensure office phones are answered promptly, courteously, and professionally, and messages are relayed to the appropriate party.
  • Monitor patient scheduling for appropriateness, production, and efficiency, following guidelines set forth by the Director of Dental Operations.
  • Oversee chart prep procedures to ensure a streamlined patient process during appointments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least five years of job-related experience or a combination of education and experience required.
  • At least three years of experience with ADA/CDT coding preferred.
  • At least three years' experience with dental EMR systems required (Dentrix preferred).
  • Microsoft Office Products - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint proficiency required.
