About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Aquor Technologies. This full-time position offers an estimated gross pay of $41,739.68 per 13-week contract. You will be responsible for evaluating and assessing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in residents of skilled nursing facilities. Your expertise will enable you to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing deficits, enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities
This role involves providing direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions. You will also educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques to support communication and swallowing needs at home and in the facility. Additionally, you will conduct regular progress assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet residents' evolving needs. You will document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting is required.
